Thanks for the reply. I am unable to use the virtual terminal at that
point. No error messages are present. and it is the only card in the pcmcia
bay. I downloaded the newest driver "pcmcia.img" yesterday, so thats not
the problem. Still stuck but still trying.

I am trying to install Mandrake 6.0 on a Compaq notebook
utilizing the pcmcia slot using an adaptec APA 1460a pcmcia
card. I boot Lilo get to the pcmcia support option, answer yes,
insert the pcmcia.img disk that I made using rawrite, it
loads the data then hangs at starting card services.
