[newbie] problems install screen+ansi rpm

G'morning, all;

Any reason why when I install the rpm of screen (version 3.7.4+ansi, if
memory serves me -- something like that), it installs fine but
segmentation faults when I run it?

I had this running fine under rh5.0.   I'm currently using a Mandrake 5.3
install.  Any help would be appreciated -- I need my screens!  :)
