I have smbmounted my w2k machine to my MDK9 box. I did not unmount it,
and shut down my w2k machine. Now I can't unmount the machine even
though it is not there. I can get in to the directory I mounted but it
is empty. How do I get rid of the connection? Any help, redirection to
howto's much
I ran rpm -qa | grep samba, and I DID have samba, samba-common and
samba-client installed. So, figuring what the heck, I uninstalled and
reinstalled them. I STILL get the same problem. Thanks, though. I'm
wondering if the problem could be in my shutdown scripts...I didn't change
them at all,

ok this is hwere im at... im running dhcp and im trying to connect to share
from a win95 machine. wheni run smbmount it keeps trying to add the
localhost.. 127.0.0.1, which is drawn from /etc/hosts. but im on dhcp..
can someone provide some help here
