When running as root , i have opened a terminal and used the command:- " /usr/sbin/sndconfig " (without quotation marks). You will probably get a warning not to do this as root. However i suffered no ill effects as a newbie when this was applied. Check with others if you wish for the disadvantage

I can't find sndconfig on my system. Can I add it?(mandrake 7.2) Also I'm wondering how is it that people get spammed? The only time I have been spammed is when I went to a chat room. Going to chat rooms seems to be a way of saying come on everybody spam me. Is there other ways someone can leave
