Dear LM7.2 user:
I download a driver of my conexant softmodem to cdrw on windowME via aol,
but
Lm7.2 can not read it, it complaint input/output error
I tried
mount -t vfat /dev/cdrom /mnt
it is not work too. Need help

Are you saying you can't access the cdrw, or that
you can'tuse the file?
If you can't use the file, it's likely that some
sort of text file got in DOS format instead of Linux. (Dos text and Linux/Unix
text are different)
Look around for an option in tar that can convert
text files
I bed u should try easily
mount /dev/cdrom /mnt
first, if not work try
mount -t iso9660 /dev/cdrom /mnt
I'm not so sure with the file type of the cdrom
find out, may be in /usr/doc ..
I just feel the option " -t vfat "
you used is just not correct because vfat is Windows
file system rather
You should be able to mount it with just mount
/mnt/cdrom. I do that all the time.
If that doesn't work, check /etc/fstab to see what
your cdrom's mount point is.
