Hi, is there a way to update my kernal via a mandrake "blessed method"..... i mean i've read all about doing it on other howto's, but i'm concerned that i do not have all of the appropriate compile tools... has mandrake a "mandrake specific up to date how to on kernals?" i'd like to get my sddr-9 smartmedia reader to work, and it's remmed out in the 8.0 kernal.. but its in there and i'd like to get it to load.. thank you, chris
