I just got thru installing Word Perfect 8.0 for linux
and i see the problem...
if you decided to install it in your user directory (/home/??????)
then I believe when you create the desktop link...you should
select to also run it "IN A TERMINAL"...with no options added.
then it will always come up and run...
after clicking on "xwp" the first time...in konqueror...it came up and
ran..
but on subsequent trys...it would start to...then crash...
this fixes this problem...at least for myself...
and from what I seen on the corel site..if you install
as root...you create a big security problem. They suggest installing it
in your user dir....anyways.
