Last evening I installed MD8.2, and reformatted my / and /usr partitions as xfs. Now, just about everything seems to be running slower then MD8.1 on ext3 partitions. Did I smoke too much grass in my younger years or is this a reality? Is there something I maybe did wrong? Is there a check of some type that I could perform to test this? What could be causing this? confused Dave -- °°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°° Mandrake Linux 8.1 Kernel 2.4.8-26mdk KDE 2.2.1 Sylpheed 0.7.2 David L.
