I have been playing around with mandrake for a few versions now(since 8.0), but have never been able to make xinerama work.
Has anyone had success using it with this hardware/software? ATI radeon 32mb SDR pci S3 Trio (primary card in bios) SIS 630e motherboard w/ integrated agp video/sound/NIC Mandrake 8.2 I really only want to use 2 cards (ATI+S3) I have followed the directions at www.tldp.org/HOWTO/Xinerama-HOWTO.html without any success. (I got both cards to work independently, edited the config-4 file). I did not try to install enlightenment, but I'm aware it has better xinerama support than KDE. I have come close to making it work but the screen connected to the S3 card was somewhat garbled. Any help would be great.
