I have a yamaha DS-XG sound card on my toshiba laptop. After installation, all i would here would be a loud buzzing sound. After reading somewhere that if the sound card module is not loaded before the pcmcia, it wont get the right irq and itll make a loud buzzing sound. So i changed the orderand now i can listen to cds, but when i try to listen to mp3's, i have to turn up the PCM Channel (which is on mute) so i can hear it, but the buzzing also comes back (louder that the music i might add).
