In order for me to get to the internet i
have to sign on usting the chap protocals. Setting them up is no problem being
able to actualy pick up the modem and dial out is. So how can i get the modem to
respond. The modem is a isa pnp compatable card beig reconised buy the system
board as a comport on com1 ( /dev/sttS0 ). Dos has no problem getting the post
to run. before installing the chap protocals the port runs. Is there any simple
way to get this thig to run ?
