True -- Audigy support is a recent spinoff of the emu10k1 driver, and 
doesn't
even get a mention on the web site right now (which I'll take a note to
change).  You want to look through the recent emu10k1-devel mailing-list
postings and read up on how to download and compile the audigy branch of 
the
drivers -- doing a test search on "Audigy" should do the trick...
