As root edit the file /etc/inittab and on the line that says 'id:3:initdefault:' change the 3 to a 5. Also make sure you have a file named 'desktop' in /etc/sysconfig with one word in it "KDE" in upper case with no quotes. That should do it. John -- Original Message -
