Thanks. I am going to keep plugging away at it. If you come up with anything else,
please let me know.

Yes, I have my Mandrake5.3 configured as a Novell CLIENT...but kernel 2.0.x
doesn't support mapping to a individual Novell directories...just the server
or the first volume(not real sure) but I had read that the 2.2.x kernel did
support mapping directly to a directory so after upgrading I was able to map
say my home directory...read the man pages on nwclient, ncpmount. There is a
file you keep in your home directory that will contain the path to the
remote Novell directory and the user name you wish to login as plus the
option for the password but it is plain text and therefore a bit
unsecure...the system will prompt you for a password if none is given...also
since Linux is case sensitive and Novell is not I had to mount just the
server work my way down the directories taking careful notes on the exact
spelling of the path getting the case right otherwise the mounting won't
work. I also went to Caldera's site and got a little info and found were to
download the lastest client files. I wish I could be a tad more specific but
I'm at home and this work was at my job...I look it tomorrow and see if I
can come up with some more info!!!

Subject: [newbie] IPX Client

I am wondering if anybody out there has gotten their Linux workstation
configured as an IPX client. I do not want to be a server, just a client.
Any help in pointing me in the right direction is greatly appreciated.
