Not to discourage anybody, but Mandrake 8.0 should come out "real soon now TM". The third beta is already out. We are testing the beta and it is starting to look really good. I would just wait for MDK 8.0 to come out. That release will have KDE 2.1.1, as well as the 2.4.2 kernel and other
