Good Day

I skipped over the make part in the help from the web page.  All works well.  Also, the /boot has to be on the first partition /dev/hda1 (I believe)

Subject: [newbie] Sblive installation woes

Hi.  I am extremely new to linux and am having mondo problems.   According to all the documentation I have found.. there is supposed to be a MAKE/PMAKE command. I cannot find any reference to this on my computer whatsoever.  I am getting extremely frustrated with this as I have been trying for over a week to get sound.

My other problem is in reguards to my C: Drive.  It is an 8.4gig Windows 98 Fat32 drive.  Linux is installed on drive d: which is a 3.2gig drive.  When booting linux I get an error  Unable to mount /dev/hda1 . : wrong fs type, bad/corrupted superblock or too many filesystems mounted.
