It may simply be that the system does not realise that your card needs the
tulip driver.

The driver that comes with 8.2 doesn't work with the
linksys pccard bus pcmcia nic.

Becker and is reportedly very good. It's the clones of the DEC chips that

tulip driver was written for. Not all the clones are good copies of DEC's
