I'm not sure if "unzip" is a typo or not, but to unzip files zipped by WinZip i use "gunzip /path/to/file". The problem I have is unzipping multispanned WinZip archives. The only way to unzip these is to use WinZip in Windows. After unzipping the file in Windows, I use WinZip to rezip them
