From: Ronald A. Yacketta the age old telnet question ;) by default mandrake does not install the telnet-server rpm, you must do that yourself. its on the cd or where you dl'ed it.

You need to install the telnet server. It should be on your mandrake CD as "Telnet-something or other.rpm" Just run (as root) rpm -i telnetserver.rpm. Keep in mind that is not the exact filename! You'll have to find it in your CD's Mandrake/RPMS directory. Jeff - Original Message -
