actually having unzip in path does not help if you don't have the
zip binary, too. Ark looks for it first.

open a terminal and try to execute "zip"  if you get "command not
found", you have to download the complete zip/unzip utility, and copy it
to /usr/bin


samething if you want archiver to be able to open RAR files.
