(2640-FJE) ,p133, 40ram 1.4gb hd 12.1 inch TFT, a Trident TGUI 9660 series
with 1024kb ram is detected during the configuration processes, however my

There are two probable explanations. Either startx is not installed (or
built) or it may not be on your path. Although my X came pre-compiled you
can try looking for the executable under /usr/X11R6/bin (That's where mine
is). Try typing /usr/X11R6/bin/startx to load X.

I have installed Linux Gentoo 1.2 on my machine. Then I downloaded all Xfree
binaries and installed X using Xinstall.sh. However when trying to run startx I get
a message "command not found".
I would appreciate any help.

version is 4.2. Each time I am getting "no screens found." The video is
a ATI Rage 128. I am having a lot of trouble with it, except Redhat has
no trouble installing. Please help.
