Hello the list :) I have a probleme with my Omnibook XE3 (celeron650,64Mg, 7.1Go) with a Savage IX. I try on a mandrake 8.1 ( Xfree4.1 ) and with netbsd 1.5.1 ( Xfree 3.3.6 doesn t work with SAVAGE IX so i have install Xfree 4.1 on netbsd ) and I have the same problem with the both ! Well, in a first time, X seem to work fine ( 800x600 with 16 000 color I think ) but in fact ... X doesn t work very well !
Instead of having a good mouse, I have a BIG mouse ( 2x2' )! I don't understead why ? and why 1024*728 doesn t work with SavageIX ? and during the install of Mandrake8.1, I have good pointer mouse so the install of Mandrake 8.1 use a defaulft driver which work good. If anyone can help me ( or(/and) if anyone have a good XFconfig file for Omnibook XE3 !! ) ...
