[Newbie]Vesa driver work but not i740, WHY??

[Newbie]startx problem (rh6.2+i740+binaries installation)

hi, i have just installed 4.1.0 (after uninstall all the old 3.3.6 rpms), the installation and configuration(with xf86config) went fine, i guess :). But everytime i do startx, it gave me the signal 11 error...dont know what the problem is, please please help? Thanks in advance XFree86
