I recently loaded RedHat Linux 7.1 on an old NEC Ready 7022 which was
free. It wouldn't load at all until I did a text install, which I'm not
that unhappy with (I like text interfaces) but I do need graphics for some
things, and no matter how I run Xconfigurator I can't get it to run
because it do
your XF86Config would be helpful to find out why Xconfigurator selected this
frequency...
By the way, have you tried the other configuration programs There are two or three: X
-configure
or xf86cfg etc.
just save your XF86Config and try...
