[Newbie]Problem with mouse pointer

I installed Xserver and then Enlightenment on my Debian 3.0(woody). When I issue the startx command,I get a DOX screen. Instead of an arrow pointer,what I get is a white square(one inch by one inch) that moves with the mouse. How do I correct this mouse pointer problem? Thanks

[Newbie]Problem with mouse pointer display

Hi, I recently bought a Dell Inspiron 8100 Notebook with NVIDIA GeForce Go graphics card. I tried installing Red Hat 7.2 (with Xfree86 v4.1) on it. Everything is fine except I cannot see the mouse pointer! The mouse is probably working partially, because as I slide the touch pad around, I do s
