--- Message created Tuesday, 25 September 2001, 10:53:39 --- I'm trying to setup 2 NIC's in Mandrake 8.0 such that eth0 will respond *only* to x.x.x.x and eth1 will respond *only* to y.y.y.y Problem is, eth0 is currently responding to both x.x.x.x *and* y.y.y.y and eth1 is responding to *neither* IP. Each NIC is using a different driver. I can achieve outbound IP traffic (Internet) on either NIC. I don't believe there is a problem with the drivers, etc (though I have been known to be wrong before...) Obviously, I'm missing something here; any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
