Are you mounting the audio cd
If you are just trying to listen to a standard audio cd you are not supposed
to mount it just run your cd player application and push play

I am quite new to the Linux platform, but so far i
love it. There is one small problem i have two cd drives one dvd and one
burner. The system always recognizes and mounts properly the standard
drive. The secondary cd burner it never recognizes and i'am a little bit
lost and how to fix this
i found a similar problem with my system and i
found it was the monitor setting. I went and reinstalled Linux and choose
a generic multi-sync monitor in the install wizard. It fixed the
problem.
