In itself there should be no problems but and it's a BIG BUT Your Linux is on /dev/hdd and the boot-loader is on /dev/hdc I am not sure what will happen as far as the loader is concerned it may load anyway. Problem is it will look on /dev/hdd for Linux and you will have moved it to /dev/hdb so, even if the loader does start up it won't find Linux.
