Greetings:
I have installed Oracle 8.1.7 on MDK 8.0. No major problems. If you have
done Oracle on UNIX and know Linux you can figure out most of the problems.
I have also installed Oracle Forms and Reports 6.0.5. Again same comments as
above. The port of Oracle 8.1.7 to Linux is more

Re. the MS fonts in exe format.
I have not tried it, but it seems that unzip on Linux is able to handle exe
zip files.
What I did was to burn the windows fonts on a CD and install then on all MDK
computers using the MDK font installer. Easy to do.

Question:
Did you import your mail from Outlook to KMail or also your Addresses to KAB?
I am interested in the addresses more than my old mail.

I do not use any icon but run it from the command line. See my original

So, I would suggest to nuke everything and restart over:
1. as root do ./setup -net ( first cd to the directory where the SO5.2 setup

2. as _each_ user do /opt/office52/program/setup ( or wherever it is )

And you are set.

Try DIA or KIVIO. The first one is part of GNOME office, the second one of
KOffice.

I also purchased a LM8 Powerpack. The problem is still there. First you
need to upgrage Drakfont from cooker and then you can install the fonts
without any problem.

There is a bug in the version that is on the CD. You need to upgrade
DrakFont (sp?) from cooker to the latest version and then run it again.
