[newbie] NIC Billionton in my laptop

I've just installed Mandrake 8.0 in my laptop, Mitac, AMD K6-2, 475 Mhz, Ram 88 Mb. Everything is okey, except: a. the onboard-modem can not function, but for the time being it is okey, since my laptop always connects to the network. b. NIC Billionton 10/100 Base/FastEthernet can not function.

[newbie] Lexmark Color Jetprinter 1020

Hi all! I use Canon BJ 10 sx as my printer and everything is running well on LM 72. But when I change to Lexmark 1020, it doesn't print well. The printer prints only strange characters. Of course I have configured my Lexmark before. Could anyone out there help me ... I am new in this
