Greece Interferes in Relations Between Serbia and Kosovo

Athens. Greece undertakes initiatives for normalization of relations between
Serbia and Kosovo, the Greek newspaper Ta Nea reads. According to the
publication in the newspaper the initiative of the Greek government for
solving the problem between Pristina and Belgrade is part of the intention
of the country to move forward the problems in the Balkan region in 2005.
The interference of Greece in the relations between Serbia nad Kosovo comes
at a time when the increase of tension in the ex Serbian region is expected.
The newspaper informs that the mediating role of Athens in solving one of
the problems in the region will lead to the stabilization of its leading
role on the Balkans and will improve the relations with the USA.
