Uranium syndrome
Will the news published at the end of February in the daily papers share the
fate of the female butterfly that lives only long enough to lay her eggs - a
single day? It appears so although it should not be so, even though we are
subsisting in a time when we have grown numb to every surprise.
A claim by Dr. Nebojsa Srbljak from the non-governmental organization
"Merciful Angel" (intentional sarcasm or coincidence!) in Kosovska Mitrovica
that cancerous illnesses during January and February of this year have
increased in Kosovo and Metohija by 120 percent when compared with the first
months of last year must not leave
