SPOKESPERSON OF THE EU SENIOR OFFICIAL CHRISTINA GALLACH
THE CHARTER WILL BE ADOPTED AROUND JANUARY 15TH
Podgorica - The Spokesperson of European Union's (EU) senior official
Javier Solana, Christina Gallach, said that the EU expected the adoption
of the Constitutional charter of Serbia and Montenegro around January
15th, 2003.
The EU has not lost its patience yet, because diplomacy is all about
being patient - said Gallach. She also said that the Charter adoption
was in the interest of Serbia and Montenegro, not in the interest of the
EU.
The Constitutional commission is expected to hold a session in Belgrade
today in which it will discuss about the Charter draft dealing with
human and minority rights. Members of the Montenegrin delegation of the
ruling Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) Igor Luksic and Dragan
Kujovic said that they expected agreement to be reached on all
contentious issues.
MEETING OF CROATIAN AND MONTENEGRIN REPRESENTATIVES IN DUBROVNIK:
AGREEMENT ON CLEARING PREVLAKA OF MINES
Podgorica - The representatives of the Croatian Center for clearing of
mines, together with the representatives of the Montenegrin Regional
Center for submarine clearing of mines and the representatives of the
Croatian and Montenegrin Ministries of Foreign Affairs talked in
Dubrovnik yesterday about clearing the border area of mines.
It has been agreed that the project would be implemented by January 30th
by Croatia's Center for clearing of mines with the assistance of
Montenegro's Regional center for submarine clearing of mines. The
international institutions, which are expected to finance the project,
will also be introduced with the project by then.
After the meeting, the representatives visited Prevlaka in order to get
to know the terrain and to determine ways of possible cooperation in
clearing the underwater of mines.
SIGNING OF ANNEX TO THE COALITION AGREEMENT OF DPS AND SDP: AGREEMENT ON
THE DIVISION OF POWER
Podgorica - The previously signed Annex to the coalition Agreement of
the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) and the Social Democratic Party
(SDP) has been verified officially today - stated DPS Spokesman Predrag
Sekulic.
Essentially, the Annex implies vertical division of the coalition power,
80 percent of which will belong to the DPS and 20 percent to the SDP -
Sekulic said. He added that the Annex was of the internal party nature
and as such it would not be available to the public.

PORTPAROL VISOKOG PREDSTAVNIKA EU KRISTINA GALJAK:
USVAJANJE POVELJE OKO 15. JANUARA
Podgorica - Portparol visokog predstavnika Evropske unije (EU) Kristina
Galjak rekla je da EU ocekuje da Ustavna povelja Srbije i Crne Gore bude
usvojena oko 15. januara 2003. godine.
EU jos nije izgubila strpljenje, jer se diplomatija zasniva na
strpljenju- rekla je Galjakova i dodala da Povelja mora biti usvojena
zbog interesa Srbije i Crne Gore a ne interesa EU.
Ustavna komisija ce danas u Beogradu raspravljati o Nacrtu povelje o
ljudskim i manjinskim pravima. Clanovi crnogorske delegacije iz
vladajuce Demokratske partije socijalista (DPS) Igor Luksic i Dragan
Kujovic izjavili su da ocekuju dogovor o svim spornim pitanjima.
HRVATSKI I CRNOGORSKI PREDSTAVNICI SUSRELI SE JUCE U DUBROVNIKU: DOGOVOR
O RAZMINIRANJU PREVLAKE
Podgorica - Predstavnici hrvatskog centra za rzaminiranje, crnogorskog
Regionalnog centra za podvodno razminiranje kao i predstavnici
ministarstava spoljnih poslova Hrvatske i Crne Gore razgovarali su juce
u dubrovniku o razminiranju granicnog pojasa.
Dogovoreno je da ce projekte uraditi Hrvatski centar za razminiranje uz
pomoc crnogorskog Regionalnog centra za podvodno razminiranje do 30
januara, do kada ce s tim projektom biti upoznate i medjunarodne
institucije od kojih se ocekuje finansijska podrska.
Nakon sastanka, ucesnici su obisli Prevlaku, kako bi se upoznali s
terenom i odredili mouce oblike saradnje u razminiranju podmorja.
POTPISAN ANEKS KOALICIONOG SPORAZUMA DPS-A I SDP-a:
DOGOVORENA PODJELA VLASTI
Podgorica - Danas je zvanicno verifikovan prethodno potpisani Aneks
koalicionog sporazuma Demokratske partije socijalista (DPS) i
Socijaldemokratske partije (SDP) - izjavio je za podgoricki list
"Pobjeda" portparol DPS-a Predrag Sekulic.
Sustina Aneksa je podjela koaliciona vlasti po dubini, koja ce u
procentu od 80 odsto pripasti DPS-u a 20 odsto SDP-u - rekao je Sekulic
i dodao da je Aneks interne partijske prirode i kao takav nece biti
dostupan javnosti.
