we (or I) don't know yet.

NORTH CANTON, Ohio (AP) -- ATM
maker

Inc. says it will reduce its staff by about 300 jobs as its profit
skidded 88 percent in the first quarter on a hefty charge related to
a proposed SEC settlement.

The adjusted results beat Wall Street's expectations, but Diebold cut
its full-year earnings forecast, citing declining orders. Diebold
shares fell 10 percent in morning trading.

It says earnings tumbled to $1.6 million, or 2 cents per share, from
$13.8 million, or 21 cents per share, a year earlier.

The results included a $25 million charge for a settlement Diebold
reached with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Excluding items, earnings were 39 cents per share. Analysts expected
profit of 17 cents per share.
