I have this same problem on my 650NH with the rear brake switch. The switch works properly, but doesn't always spring back to the off position. It seems to get stuck and need just a little bump to click off. The spring attaching the switch to the brake pedal looks stretched on one end & I think

I'm buying parts as we speak. I'm also not picky about putting non nighthawk parts on the bike. I'll be putting air shocks from a cb900 on it, have mirrors from a VTX, crashbar from an older CB, generic pegsit'll just get worse until I save up enough money to buy a VTX, Magna or a Boulevard.
