IMHO; I had a '82 CB650sc. A nice bike... just nice. no hydraulic valve
adjusters, five speed (not six) chain drive (not drive shaft) two valve /
single cam, cable operated clutch, just the last (best) of a run of pedestrian
four cylinder 650 bikes that started in'79. As a Honda technician, I ca
I have an offer on my 85 450 Nighthawk for an 82 650 Nighthawk. The
650 has 21000mi and just "needs the seat recovered" and possibly the
master cylinder. My 450 needs another carb rebuild since the 1st guy
didn't do it right the the gas tank creamed. It has 10685mi on it.
Would it be a good trade
Just so happens I have one of those. Was reluctant to use it though
for fear of denting or crushing the pipes. But now that I think of
it, the centerstand will be taking most of the weight of the bike.
The jack would just be tilting it toward the rear (like a fat kid and

NH 250s are rare. Right.
So rare the MSF uses 'em for training bikes.

I really like it, I'm down with getting one of these made up. I especially
like the production years, since I've just bought a "next-gen" 91-750 to go
with my "old-school" 84-550.-Christoph

Alo,
If you are really interested, I make my own hydrogen generators, and I can sell
you one.. As for warranty, adding hydrogen to the mix makes your engine burn
the fuel cleaner and therefore last longer. My old Dodge Dynasty's oil, at only
97,000 miles, was black 500 miles after an oil change

Went to the web site, they have a pencil drawing of the bags. Do you
have pictures? I have a 96 NH 750 as well, would love to see how the
bags look before I consider purchase.

I haven't seen anything on the web, that is why I ask here in the group.
Somebody that lives in this area told me is selling one, so if it is in good
shape I'll go for it... I'll let you know if I see something else, I'm
always looking on internet for sweat deals.
Cheers... Javier.

Does anybody know where I can get a cruiser style sissy bar and
saddlebags? I'm obligated to buy via internet; I'm stationed overseas

it. How do you attach saddlebags? Will I need brackets to keep the
bags from "flopping" in
Toyota trucks are mostly assembled in the US. Meanwhile the US manufacturers
are selling off to foreign companies. I will agree the other trucks look
better, in my opinion on tacoma is one of the worst looking trucks. I bought
it because I wanted a toyota and I wanted rear-wheel-drive. I've never b
What about different background colors? Some of us have blue bikes, red

If you have access to a smaller floor jack (2 ton) then that is all you need.
just jack it up enough so the rear wheel just touches the ground. I had my 85
700 on one for about a week while the body parts were getting painted. You
might want to put a rag between the jack and the pipes though.
Now THAT is definitely a homegrown solution. lol!

I had a silver '05 Dodge Dakota extra cab - best looking truck out
there (I still think). But at 18k miles the problems were
overwhelming. The power steering went out. Fortunately it was still
covered be the warranty. I couldn't get the brakes working right.
The front overheated. I ch
One fix to that gorgeous patch design everyone's raving about. The first
Nighthawk series ended in 1986, not 1985.
The most recent series ended in 2008, so that's ok if you're including the

As for a Tacoma...I've considered it...but for some unknown reason, i

my dream truck is a black dodge dakota...but that's a bit down the
