I am having the seals replaced on my '83 650. I have read a lot about
seals lately and how fork gaiters can do a lot to extend the life of
them. Does anyone know if there is anything that would work well on my
Nighthawk to help protect the fork from debris above the seal?

when something wouldn't cooperate, but it's a great little machine,

Yet another reason not to do 'stoppies'.
I have to admit though - some of the stuff that the Star Boyz (if

Mostly I just wipe them with a clean rag regularly. You need a place to
clamp the top and bottom of the gaiters to really keep the dirt out and the

Joey, I have been useing a product called Tri Flow. I've been useing
it for about 15 years. I like it because it is a Teflon lube that dirt
does not stick to, so the chain stayes clean and if you let the bike
sit over night very little flys off gumming up the rim. It will not
hurt O Ring chains eit
if you have a o ring chain pj 1 has chain lube special for it it spray's and
dry's like a heavy wax as soon as you ride it gets liquid again it's the
