buy as 'electrical tape' is really just a black tape that looks like
electrical tape. If you aren't paying a couple dollars per roll, it

Tim,
One thing that comes to mind to protect wires / connections is
heat shrink tubing - available from some Auto parts stores and almost
all electronics stores.
When applied properly, heat shrink tubing provides a
watertight seal that will keep just about anything out with no damage

Actually late last night I found a place that sells a set of 4 drain screws for
$25. Still a little pricey but it beat paying Honda $70 for a new bowl w/ the
screw. In case you ever need it, the place is called SCI (Sirius Consolidated
Inc.). I found them on EBay.
