Maybe your switch? Strange problem there...
2. Any one knows where I can get raiser cheap
for the bike or stock handle bars that are cheap. If found stock
handle bars? How do I get the hand grips

First try www.pinwallcycle.com - they sell a lot of stuff on eBay and
have had a lot of 750's over the last two years. They don't have one

Wow, we're not off topic at all ;)
Anyways, you don't want a SockA board, you can only put *AMD* chips in
those! YUCK!
Besides, no need to build a new machine just to try it out, many linux
distros can be run directly from the CD or USB key without touching the
local hard drive.

Hey, I like my old Athlon chip! It's done everything I've asked it to do
over it's ten year life. It's the motherboards that keep seeming to give me
crap.
It wouldn't so much be a matter of building a new machine as much as
reviving my reliable old desktop. Motherboard issues, ugh.

I'm just biased, when I did PC Repair back in the late 90s we had 10x the
problems with AMDs than we did with Intel. Tell you the same thing we tell
people looking for backrests, check eBay. Might be time to let go of SockA
tho, Socket AM3+ is coming out soon.

True the K6 chips were quirky. I keep an old Compaq Deskpro 2000 circa 1995

If I were you and I had the money I'd get the magna, 70K is pretty high mileage
on a bike, especially if it's been neglected. Better yet find another Nighthawk

Don't let the harddrive hold you back. 1Tb SATA drives can be found at $50.
The problem you're having with the old SockA board was a flood of
counterfeit capacitors out of Taiwan a few years back. It hit all of the old
motherboard makers from the cheapest to the biggest. Some of the smaller
