I want to verify them before I put them on.
Thank You.

I have a good Mennonite friend who was riding a '79 Wing and wanted
to upgrade and asked me to keep an eye out. I got a call from a lady
who said she had 1983 GL1100 but it was no longer running and had a
bent wheel and electrical problem (generator). It was in a friend's
barn and that
I got the 412 too. I never found the HD option on the ones that were listed
on ebay. I assumed there was not such thing for this model.

I am not looking to get into another bike for now. I could go and take a

Javier, the seller is going to check out the milage for me and get
back to me tomorrow. If it's a low milage bike (it's been sitting
for 5 years), I will consider driving there and buying it. It's not
worth $650 to me, that's why I would go there myself and talk to the
seller about it.

Hello All,
Been looking at my new ride and wondering if I ought to add a
pair of lights to the front of the old girl.
LEDs would seem to be the way to go, but I have a few
requirements: DOT legal - small (as in less than three inches around)
and of course, cheap.
Any
Front marker/turn signal, or just extra lights to make you more visible? LED
replacement headlights are not really viable.

Guess what. I have a sweet running GS-1000.
You know what? I owe it to GSResources - specifically sedelen -
for mentioning the screen on the petcock, prior to me tearing it
apart.
Heres what I think happened - the previous owner had an inline

Allen,
The Windjammer fairing has running lights / directionals on
it and they are reasonably bright. My concern is two fold - one -
riding in the dark, I'd like to have some visibility in the ditches
(we have lots of deer up here) and two - I have noticed it is much
easier to see a bike
I just flipped through CycleGear's site - any particular link you remember?

I actually saw Graham doing that. One guy came to look at one of the 700s
while I was there. I think he couldn't believe how relax Graham was about he
driving the bike around for as long as he wanted. I think the common
knowledge is that sellers are trying to screw buyers, almost as much as

My experience with LEDs is they might make you a bit more visible without
drawing many volts, but they're not going to light up the road for you.
