I think I can beat that,I set my helmet on the pavement once while I worked
on my 650. When I picked it up 30mins later to put it on I glanced inside
first and noticed it was moving. Upon closer inspection I noticed it was
full of fire ants. I'm glad I figured that out before putting it on and
last week i put my hemlet on as normal, 3 blocks down the road i had to stop
and take it off because i heard a buzzing and felt stinging... yea, there
was a wasp in my helmet... luckly he couldent move well pressed against my
head and i have alot of hair...

I went to see this bike today in Lynchburg.
It was complete, but the tank was pretty banged up, the paint was
wasted totally, the engine ran, but there was a NASTY sound like the
timing chain was rubbing against the case...and the jug/block gasket
was pissing oil like the Exxon Valdez.

As a helmet lock, try a dollar store cable lock wound around anything
on the frame. Can probably cut it with a good pair of scissors but in
my experience, nobody seems to want to steal a NH or anything on it.
