Sorry Kyle I was referring to jman's response, but to respond to yours I have
cleaned the petcock along with the carbs at the time I just didn't have the
carb adjusting gauges, and since I have gotten them they've been loaned out..
Guess now would be a good time to "borrow " them back.! Thanks
A dirty petcock? No, that would be adjusted by removing, disassembling, and
cleaning it. Cleaning and syncing the carbs is also a good idea while
you're in there.

That coupled with the previously mentioned dry inline fuel filter I would
guess you've got a fuel delivery problem. I would remove and clean the
petcock screens and honestly I'd remove the inline filter completely as
it's not necessary with the two screens in the petcock. I've got pics from

Allen, check out the pictures I posted. I am not sure what gaskets these

Thanks for your help.

I don't know that anyone is expecting that sort of model anymore. Dreaming
of it, sure, but I don't think it's been a true model of consumer behavior
in decades, at least not in the USDM. Even CAT manufacturers are abandoning
that model, since there isn't enough upward mobility in pay these days, i
I guess the big question is - will new riders take to the idea that they
can buy their first bike, second, third, etc all the way up to and
including a trike for when they're not able to hold the bike up any

perspective...

I have been told that the development of the 500cc one was directly tied to
the aging fleet of buell blasts currently used by the HD rider Ed program.
MSF will not allow anything above 500cc.

Yes that is at an idle, when I do take it out ill do that little test on it..
Does it sound like a fuel issue? Maybe the carbs aren't quite mixing fuel to
air? Or is that just an issue with the idle and running performance..

I saw the electric bike on a news segment. It was pretty fast, quiet & had
about a 100 mile range. I'm glad they're doing something to enter the new
millennium rather than continuing the antique technology on the regular bikes.
'Motorcyclist' magazine wasn't too impressed with the workmanship
