When my head bearings were way loose I would get that at low speeds, and
then it got worse until I fixed them. (`83 NH 550)

Not quite, while it is about time allballs made a search feature for their
conversion bearings spreadsheet; you lack a critical measurement which is
fork length. This is especially important when using upside down forks
since they are usually shorter and cannot be moved up or down in the tree.

Finally had a chance to replace my fuse box. All works well and the fuel guage
plug, under the seat, had been pushed apart by installing the seat.
