Since I don't know what bike you have, these are common places for a bike to leak on the left side. If the bike is chain drive it could be a leaky seal behind the front sprocket, another common leak point is around the shift rod. Also look at the base of the cylinders for dampness as old bike will

Jason has an 82 650NH it has a MACs system on it and it didn't need any jetting, just some adjustment to the low speed mixture screws. We put a UNI air filter in it as well.
