Yikes, I think it was like $30 to have the locksmith pick the gas tank lock *in
his store*, look under the gas cap for a code number and make 2 keys from
that. I'll be interested to hear what the cost is to have a locksmith
travel 3 hours total and do the job. Best of luck.
