I second the Bridgestone Batlax - I put one size wider than the stock
recommended size on my bike. My mechanic has a 2003 750 and that's what he
runs on his bike. It makes for a really nice stable ride and they last a
long time for motorcycle tires

Yes they used what Honda recommends so I am just going to keep an eye on it.
They did loosen the chain but I will make sure it's correct as well.

Cool, thanks all.
I should probably find some metric hoses, one of the SAE ones I got doesn't
seat 100% right (it's like .76mm larger than 4mm), bit I may be able to get
away with it as long as I clamp it down real good.

You said you just took it for service. Are you sure they used the right
oil? Could be too thin/thick for the bike, although I hope someone more
knowledgeable can comment on that.

Keep us posted. Some of us have had our bikes for a long time and have
experienced odd things. That one is odd, but we're here to help. The more you
ride the more you know.

Double check your oil level, and make sure your chain is clean and not too
tight.
Mine made a distinct ticking noise when I had the chain tightened too much.

on it for issues. Thanks all.

Dealer probably didn't have any bulk hose in stock, OR wanted you to order
an OEM.
A while back I bought a couple meters of 4, 6, & 10mm hose to make up
replacements. A little pricy, but they are the correct sizes so they are
less likely to leak.

Not worth mentioning that I know of. I and many here have done just what you
did. No issues.
