All four stems on my 91 NH 750 are cracked. Like you I don't want to buy new ones. My homemade solution was to get 2 or 3 nails the same length as the stem and wrap black electrical tape around them against the stem to provide stiffness and support. I first tried to repair the cracks with silic

Hello! I ask a lot of questions of you guys I hope that's ok. I seem to be having a clunking (hard shift) from 1st to 2nd gear a lot. I am thinking about adjusting the clutch cable a little tighter but want some input about the issue. Is this normal for this bike or do I have a bigger issue.
