I would suggest looking at the breather boots where they join the air
breather box. I sealed mine. I'm a recent Nighthawk owner myself. If that's
not the issue maybe adjust the butterflies

revs properly with all cylinders firing, my issue is most likely in the
carbs and not anything in the ignition? Are there any areas known to leak

Hey there,
Just moved from nearly sea level (DC), to the mountains (Denver). Someone
mentioned that there might be an altitude adjustment switch on my bike. The
manual is still packed, so I haven’t had a chance to look it up. Does anyone
know if this is true?

Hey guys! Can anyone point me to where I can buy a good quality solenoid that
will fit my 83 nighthawk? Everything on eBay and Amazon looks super cheap and
has an integrated fuse holder built intro the connector part. Will those even
