exactly* the same problem - i.e. warm it up, head off, it loses power when
you put the throttle on, then surges, then I'm up and running. Only ever
happens in the first minute or so. Once engine's been running it goes away.

bikes are set very lean from the factory.

in mind it might actually still stumble a bit if it is cold outside,
the choke doesn't have much of an effect if the throttle butterflies are
opened far because the vacuum lowers.
