Hello Group, On the same thread. While restoring my BSA M20 - 1939, I tapped and changed all the fasteners from British Standards to Metric. Was it a pain? sure was while attempting the same. Am I happy now? sure am, any missing fastener is only a trip away to the hardware store. Reg, BB

Hello There, Yup! got the engine going. Spark plugs cleaned, Carbs cleaned, air cleaner ..err..cleaned, tank cleaned out, petrol cock cleaned, rigged up a battery from my Triumph and after checking the electrics, the engine turing over without spark plugs/ compression and a squirt of oil down
